QUMSA.net is now at version 1.6 having recently undergone a minor cleaning. The site HTML and CSS now validate and the menus' accessibility has been improved.

As always, your input on the site is greatly appreciated.

History

QUMSA.net has come a long way from when it was first hosted at myams. In the academic year of 2003/2004, QUMSA purchased a pretty :) domain name and hosting services to go with it. It underwent a major makeover and QUMSA.net version 1.0 was born. We managed to do it without going broke either, and so earned the undying love and awe of our then secretary, Haseeb Khan. As the year progressed, the site developed, one baby at a step a time. Most recently, the site had a second - not so drastic - restyling and the result is what you see today, version 1.5.

We hope you like the look. More importantly, we pray that you find this site as useful as we, the webmasters, wish it to be. If there are things you want implemented here please don't hesitate to contact us. A holler is always nice too. =]

Thanks

First, Alhamdu Lillah that we have the ability to bring to you to this site. We try to keep our intentions as pure as possible to bring to you the best. May Allah make that easy for us.

Thanks, too, to all the QUMSA members and general hang-around-ers (we know who you are :) who continue to visit this site. You make us feel loved.

Jaza Kallah to sister Mutama'inaa who so generously provides the images that we so heartlessly hacked to make the backgrounds that adorn these pages.

Thanks also to Travis Beckham who makes amazing tiles, some of which we used here but only after we'd changed those too almost beyond recognition. (We have no respect for the sanctity of art. Nope, none at all. ;)

And finally - yes it must end sometime - general all-round thanks to the present and past QUMSA Exec for everything they have done for this organisation. Without them this site would never have even been. Consider that and remember them all - and us - in your prayers.

Jaza Kallah.
